Anna Jennifer
— Russian-American multimedia artist working with acrylic painting on cardboard and canvas, as well as installation art. Her practice explores color, form, and themes of music, conflict, and human relationships.
Anna’s art reflects her dual cultural heritage, merging Russian and American influences. She reinterprets traditional techniques and folk motifs through a contemporary lens, with a strong focus on sustainability.

Her aim is to create art from recycled materials, continuing the lineage of traditional craftsmanship. In her works, she often turns to the subject of alcoholism, examining how addiction shapes relationships. She is drawn to the paradox: alcohol creates the illusion of intimacy, yet what binds people together is not love, but dependency, leaving real connections shallow.

From the series “Alcoholics”
This work is about the impact of alcoholism in childhood, and how it shapes patterns of codependency in adulthood.

The series explores the impact of addiction and its long-lasting consequences on the ways relationships are formed.
