Alexander Dushevny
Alexander gained a huge amount of experience from the caricature. But at some point he realized that expressing his thoughts in the template format of a caricature was limiting. That is why he began to apply this experience in sculpture. In addition, Alexander has long noticed that through humor and metaphors, complex information can be conveyed to the viewer faster and even easier.

In his works, he strives to evoke an emotional response and think about the topics he raises. The sculptor constantly experiments with forms, materials and technologies, without limiting himself and the viewer with “frameworks”. He creates new and reworks classical sculpture, helping to see a fresh thought in the familiar. Alexander's sculpture speaks to the viewer in the easy language of humor ... about complex topics.
Sculpture "Turtle"
"Turtle" as the creation of peace and rebirth.
A military helmet as its "pseudo-protection".
It is in a half-dead state... however, it has every chance of rebirth. As does all of humanity.

The artist says that the world closes its eyes to some events in favor of others: due to lack of reliable knowledge, someone's selfish interests or ignorance. The sculpture reminds us that we must be more aware and responsible for our actions in order to prevent further deterioration of the situation.

Overall, the philosophy of this sculpture is that it calls us to create a better world based on knowledge, justice and respect for others.
