Alexander gained a huge amount of experience from the caricature. But at some point he realized that expressing his thoughts in the template format of a caricature was limiting. That is why he began to apply this experience in sculpture. "Turtle" as the creation of peace and rebirth.
A military helmet as its "pseudo-protection".
It is in a half-dead state... however, it has every chance of rebirth. As does all of humanity.
The artist says that the world closes its eyes to some events in favor of others: due to lack of reliable knowledge, someone's selfish interests or ignorance. The sculpture reminds us that we must be more aware and responsible for our actions in order to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
Overall, the philosophy of this sculpture is that it calls us to create a better world based on knowledge, justice and respect for others.
