ELENA Maiss
Elena Tyunina works under the pseudonym Lena Maiss, was born in Taganrog in 1984. Currently lives and works in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a child, she graduated from the S. I. Blonskaya Children's Art School in Taganrog. But couldn’t continue her artistic path. She received a higher education in psychology. Since 2019, she began to professionally engage in painting, taking lessons in private workshops.
Elena participates in art fairs, competitions, exhibitions, and creates custom works. Her works are in private collections throughout Russia, as well as in the USA, Kazakhstan, UAE, and the Netherlands.
Since 2023, she has been creating works in the technique of digital painting. Currently, she is working on creating a series of original paintings.

Series of works "Us"
In her work, Elena explores female corporality and sexuality.
The plot centers on ordinary women, housewives placed in everyday realities. The author's main goal is to seize and capture on canvas the internal psychological states of her heroines.
The series of works "Us" is about all of us, and about each one individually. The paintings depict young women. They can be cheerful, thoughtful, tired, sexy, funny, in a word, different, in whose images many recognize themselves.
"Alyonushka is waiting for a call", a picture about a girl who is in love and is waiting for a response to a message. The wait dragged on and Alyonushka is a little tired. "Annushka reflects on what she read", Annushka is a strong and independent woman, she loves to read books on psychology and self-knowledge. "After ...", and here is the intrigue, our heroine is either just getting ready for a date, or has already returned. The choice is up to the viewer.
