Photo project "5 years in captivity"
The photo project tells the story of a former doctor and builder who has been forced to live in a confined space for six years.

Andrey is 62 years old. He lost his leg to gangrene and now spends most of his time on his couch. Andrey watches TV for hours, reads newspapers and solves crosswords. He has a guardian angel - Tatyana Vasilyevna, his mother. She is 85 years old. It is very difficult for her to take care of her son.

Over the past 5 years, Andrey has only left his apartment a few times when he went to Vladimir for prosthetics. He cannot go down from the fifth floor on his prosthesis. In order to go down from the fifth floor to the first and go to Vladimir for prosthetics, he crawls up the stairs (more than 80 steps) on cellophane, which his mother ties to his back. After such a descent, his whole body hurts for many days.

Andrey often experiences a state of despair, depression, and mood swings. He sees no way out of this situation, has resigned himself to his fate, and is completely dependent on his elderly mother.
Over the years, there have been no volunteers in the city who would help Andrey get down from the fifth floor. No one responded to the requests for help that this family made to various authorities.

This project is important to me because I want to draw public attention to the situation Andrey found himself in, in order to help him.
