Vladislav Aksenov
– an artist who studies the boundaries of relationships. He creates interpersonal conflict in his works, emphasizing it with recognizable symbols with brutal directness.

Vladislav’s artistic language is assemblage, installation and art objects made of pain, irony and protest.

Vladislav strives to make visible the psychological motives of society, examining them from the angle of complex sensory experiences. Combining provocation and objects of everyday life in his works, he moved from analyzing his own emotions to acute social issues, exploring individual and collective experience.

«Faith, Hope, Love - Died»
Mixed media, 2024

Suicide is a solution to a depressed state. Circumstances juxtapose hopelessness against liberation.

The installation "Faith, Hope, Love - Died" is dedicated to all those who experienced despair and could not cope with its burden. Experiencing this intense pain, people lost faith that everything could get better, lost hope that they would be helped, lost love for life. Feelings were the first to leave. A person followed them.

Both sides of the tragedy: both the living relatives and the once living person who committed suicide, experience despair. The artist actualizes the problem of suicidal behavior and its prevention, raising the issue of the deficit of emotional support.
